El zar Saltan, miniatura de laca de Kholui

Se piensa que la pequeña ciudad Kholui, conocida como un centro de miniaturas de la laca papier-mâché y famosa de sus pintores del icono hábiles, es uno de los establecimientos más viejos en el área de Vladimir-Suzdal. La leyenda lo tiene que el establecimiento apareció en el 13er siglo, cuando la tierra rusa fue invadida por los nómadas mongoles.

Tsar Saltan, Kholui Lacquer Miniature

The small town Kholui, known as a center of papier-mâché lacquer miniatures and famous for its skillful icon painters, is thought to be one of the oldest settlements in the Vladimir-Suzdal Area. Legend has it that the settlement appeared in the 13th century, when the Russian land was invaded by the Tartar-Mongol nomads.
