EL OP ART Y LA ESCULTURA CINÉTICA.

Huyen de la figuración basándose en figuras geométricas.

Victor Vasarely. “Aran”. A diferencia de la abstracción post-pictórica estudian las condiciones perceptivas del hombre, el proceso de percepción. Relación de colores y formas, vibración de la retina, se trata de que el cuadro sea un expresión física, rompiendo sus visiones habituales. Obliga a aprender a mirar cada vez que vemos un cuadro, desarrollar nuevas estrategias perceptivas. Rompe con la historia de la percepción. Emplea estructuras seriales, pero introduce la tensión en la percepción, sensación ilusoria de movimiento.

Efectos ópticos mediante técnicas diversas. Cambio de colores que produce sensación ilusoria.

Richard Anuskiewisz. “Luminoso”. Empleo de franjas paralelas provocando sensación ilusoria de movimiento en cascada.

Bridget Riley.”Cataract”. Agrandamiento de módulos seriales que crea efecto de convexidad.

Alexander Calder. “Pequeña araña”.

Basándose en el op art y en los modelos de Calder los escultores cinéticos introducen el movimiento en su obra.

G. RICKEY.

George Rickey. “Seis líneas horizontales”. Necesita la participación del espectador, supone ruptura con la tradicional vista de la escultura estática.

VICTOR VASARELY. They "plow". In contrast to the postpictorial abstraction they study the perceptive conditions of the man, the perception process. Relation of colors and forms, vibration of the retina, one is a question of the picture being a physical expression, breaking its habitual visions. 

It has to learn to look whenever we see a picture, to develop new perceptive strategies. It breaks with the history of the perception. He uses serial structures, but it introduces the tension in the perception, illusory sensation of movement.

Being based on the op art and in the models of Calder the kinetic sculptors introduce the movement in its work.

GEORGE RICKEY. “Six horizontal lines”. He needs the participation of the spectator, supposes rupture with the traditional sight of the static sculpture.
