Comunicación con los dioses....Communication with the gods

En el mundo clasico, los dioses se comunicaban con los mortales, a través de los oráculos, el más famoso fue sin duda el de Apolo en Delfos, en el corazón de Grecia. Alli las profecias del Dios de la Razón eran pronunciadas por su sacerdotisa, la PITIA, mientras permanecia sentada en un tripode de oro sagrado situado encima de una roca, junto al abismo.

Hércules compitió con Júpiter por la posesión del oráculo al no recibir la respuesta que había pedido. Intentó llevarse el trípode sagrado, pero Apolo acudió en defensa de la sacerdotisa, y entonces Júpiter puso inicio a la contienda lanzando un rayo entre sus dos hijos, Apolo tenía otro oráculo en Delos. 

Tambien tenia otro famoso oráculo en Cumas, Italia. en el que la SIBILA, se encargaba de transmitir sus profecias. Esta le pidió a Apolo, que estaba enamorado de ella, que le concediera tantos años de vida, como granos tenía un montón de polvo-
