Baco

Son of Jupiter and of me him Be, he was the god of the wine, inspiring of the music and the poetry. It was raised by Sileno, it had an infancy felíz and often it was going accompanied by nymphs, satyrs, shepherds and peasants, also it was provided usually with the company of Ménades. or "crazy women", or also known like Bacchantes, all of them were dancing around him with ethyl frenzy.

It usually makes itself up accompanied by the above mentioned frantic women or only, sometimes also it turns out to be dressed in skins of animal, mounted in a car thrown by wild animals. In general it is represented like a young and beautiful man with a crown of fig leaves and grapes, and a glass in the hand. When it was young, Baco proposed to teach the art of the vinicultura, although the company had a tragic end, after falling in love with Erigone, daughter of its host, Icario, and seducing it, Icario was murdered by a few intoxicated shepherds and, when the news came to ears of its dear, this one hung herself.

When one was raising doubts about its divinity, Baco was always going out victoriously. In an occasion, after being seuestrado for a few pirates in Lidia, it covered its oars and sails with ivies, next the whole series of wild animals appeared in scene, and when the pirates jumped to the sea over fear, they turned into dolphins.
